KATHMANDU, May 12: Data collection of losses incurred by 10 districts among the 14 worst hit by the last year's earthquake has been completed.
According to the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), the 'Gorkha Earthquake' loss data collection had been completed in Sindhupalchwok, Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, Sindhuli, Dolakha, Kavrepalanchowk, Manwanpur, Okhaldhunga and Ramechhap. The collection started in the first week of January.
International standards were adopted in the loss data collection, said Bureau Director Dhundiraj Lamichhane. The collection of losses incurred by three districts in the capital- Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur- will take place soon, he added. RSS
